I am an agent in the Earhart Agency. Earhart Agency is a team and we cheer each other on!! That is my favorite part of our Agency and Symmetry---- The positive culture.
I'm here to help my friends and family in West Texas. But I have my license in 6 different states. So, I am able to work remotely from home to help families in those states. In my first six weeks, I was recognized as a Seasoned New Agent from Symmetry Financial Group. In February, I received my first promotion.
Earhart Agency provides many types of coverage: life insurance, mortgage protection, accidental insurance, final expense, dental, vision, Debt Free Life (an infinite banking concept) and retirement plans. We are here to help families in our local area and beyond!!

My interview experience was with my previous boss who left education and started her own insurance agency in 2020. I basically said "Take me on, you have an amazing team that I know and love. I want to be a part of your team." I got my license in 10 days!!! My favorite part is training opportunities.

I quit my teaching job but I'm too young to retire. Now what?

I'll support my husband in the cattle business. Great idea? Maybe not! I spent a day checking, watering and feeding cows, learning the ropes. I came home from work sunburned, shocked by the electric fence and my dear husband was probably never going to let me REALLY help him on my own.

I decided I would help him with his office work of his business. I was shooed away as I began organizing his office. My neatly organized piles was creating problems in his ability to find stuff. And not to mention the stuff that made it to the trash. "Go organize your....stuff," he suggested. (He didn't use the word stuff 🙄)

What did I want in a career?

1️⃣ My first non-negotiable is flexiblity and freedom. I want to be available to help my husband in his endeavors, enjoy meals together and support each other. I want to 'be there' for my adult children when they need me.

Last week, my daughter had 4 days off from work. She calls me, "Mom come down and see me." 9 hours later....I'm THERE!! (See picture)

2️⃣ The second is being in business with the right people.

I knew that I couldn't do a new career with out being a part of team and mentorship. I'm a people person. I need to belong and have team members to bounce off ideas and keep me accountable!

3️⃣The third is make an impact. Teaching is so rewarding. I need to know that I make a difference in someone's life and have a positive impact.

I'm so grateful for 15 years in education. I loved teaching math at Olton ISD, Plainview Christian Academy and Nazareth ISD. I'm so thankful for my students, administration and co-workers over the years. I decided to leave education for something else...not knowing what that would be. I told my dear husband that I would find a new career but I needed to step out of teaching or other wise I would never find it. I'm so excited about my new career and about the personal growth I have found here. I have been stretched and learned so much. Traction. I love making a difference and the impact.
