The Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing is seeking a passionate and experienced leader to help advance affordable housing across Oklahoma.

This role offers the opportunity to work with housing professionals, developers, community leaders, nonprofit organizations, and policymakers to support advocacy, education, collaboration, and industry growth throughout the state.

The House Appropriations THUD Subcommittee recently held a markup of its FY27 spending bill. The bill would fund HUD at $71.38 billion, an 8% cut from the FY26 budget. The full committee is scheduled to markup the THUD bill on June 3.

At a time when a record number of renters are housing cost burdened and families around the country are struggling to afford necessities like housing, food, and medical care, Congress should be working to expand funding for programs that help people make ends meet.

The Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) has opened the comment period for the 2027 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). The QAP sets the state's eligibility priorities and criteria for awarding tax credits. It sets forth the criteria for evaluating all projects that apply for a tax credit allocation.
