For anyone interested in understanding the psychology of how people spend money and understand how we subliminally value things, I highly recommend reading Dollars and Sense by Dan Ariely. It's an easy read that's filled with lots of great takeaways.

Good morning all!

Apollo Investment Club's next meeting will be Saturday, 9/26/15, at 10 am, at the same location:
840 Research Pkwy
Oklahoma City, OK

If you are unable to physically attend, you can join virtually from home through GoToMeeting. Kevin will send more details on this as we get closer to next weekend. It seems we will be fortunate enough to have a few new people joining us this month, either in person or virtually, this time.

We will have much to discuss again this month with the state of the economy and market alone. We will also need to start drilling down our next position and potentially make a move in the following weeks. Please bring ideas, research, and thoughts as we continue to develop one of the only known investment clubs in OKC!

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday at 10am at 840 Research Parkway, Suite 250, 73104.

We'll be discussing several different stocks including Coach, Yahoo, Gilead Sciences, and a few others.

This has been a CRAZY week in the global market with Greece on the verge of a default, the NYSE getting hacked from what I think was a cyber attack, and China's stock market crash! What does all this mean for your investment portfolios (401k's, personal brokerage account, our club account)?!?!?

Let's talk about this on Saturday and figure out how to make it work in our favor!

CLUB UPDATE

I just wanted to let everyone know that things are going great with the investment club. I am truly excited to have Brad Wallace involved and I want to openly acknowledge that he is doing a great job with the portfolio analyses and other reports he's been providing.

Soon we will be going back to using the website MyiClub.com so that everyone can view and track in real time how the club account is progressing. We are making great progress at our meetings by consistently having stocks to discuss with detailed and thorough analysis. We have also been using our virtual technology to include people in the meetings when they are offsite. In fact, last month Mohsin Behi joined us from Toronto, Canada and Jeff Asher joined us from his couch as he recovered from a mild back sprain!

Over the next few months we'll be discussing several new stocks to add to the portfolio. A few growth stocks that I'm personally tracking are Fitbit, Sandisk, Twitter, and several others. There are several other stocks that you also may be following so feel free to bring them up at the next meeting.

It's an exciting time to be a part of the group! Now that our processes have been streamlined, key club roles have been filled, and our stock analyses processes are better, our club and our stock portfolio is positioned for strong growth.

I hope you all are excited about telling people about the club and I look forward to seeing everyone on July 11th at 10am for our next club meeting.
