We also have excellent relationships with landscape architects, landscape designers and architects. We are currently moving some of our design and drawing in-house for more efficient service. We have long standing relationships and excellent credentials to provide a comprehensive range of landscape construction services. Mindful of the ecological impact of construction materials, Wolfe, Inc. utilizes recycled materials as much as possible and ensures that any waste is reused or recycled properly. Whenever possible Wolfe, Inc. uses lumber that has been sustainably harvested. In addition, we offer composite decking, a recycled material that offers a huge savings with low to no maintenance. Onsite dirt removal is brought to Hayward when weather permits to help create wetlands. Concrete debris and green materials are hauled to a transfer station to be processed for reuse to avoid contributing to landfills. To craft attractive spaces in accordance with nature, Wolfe, Inc. uses many California native plants and other drought tolerant plants. We also offer semi-permeable materials and dry stack rock walls to incorporate environmental sustainability with landscape design.

Piedmont Avenue Craftsman

Challenge: Create a new stair rail to match the original traditional craftsman style of the house, while increasing the storage space under the stairs that fit with the traditional look. Also create additional kitchen base storage that worked with the house's specific structural limitations, including under-the-counter refrigeration and a heavy farm sink.
Solution: Designed and created a new railing as well as original kitchen storage drawers that worked seamlessly with the house's mix of modern and traditional craftsman style.

Lakeshore District Remodel

We transformed the back of this house by re-routing the central hallway to the new ‘Australian Veranda’ and remodeled the two back bedrooms. All new seismic and insulation was installed, along with all new stucco, windows and doors, hard wood flooring and custom designed built-ins in the two bedrooms. For the veranda, we installed a metal roof and dropped the ceiling, with lighting, to make it have a feel of an additional room. Our custom designed and built handrails were the final touch to give our client from Down Under a feeling from back home.

This new stair rail was designed and built using reclaimed materials and bamboo balusters to express the serpentine movement of the stairs. We also increase the storage space under the stairs as a huge bonus for the homeowners. They also wanted us to create additional storage under their more traditional stairway.
