Shasta Family YMCA Camp McCumber Camp McCumber is the Shasta Family YMCA's week long residential (sleep-away) summer camp. Camp is our favorite week of the year! Welcome!

Camp McCumber 2022:

Session 1: July 10- July 16

Session 2: July 24 - July 30

Registration Packets, CIT applications and Parent Handbooks are all available at the YMCA on Court Street and at http://www.sfymca.org/programs-events/programs/overnight-camp

We also have financial assistance available for those who qualify. YMCA Camp is a natural part of growing up and has been an integral part of th

e North state community for over 50 years! At YMCA Camp McCumber, we make sure that your children will have opportunities for positive growth and development. YMCA Camp offers your children an outdoor environment that is happy, safe, and educational. They will learn respect for their fellow campers, for their own abilities, and for the natural beauty of the countryside. Held at beautiful Lake McCumber in Shingletown, CA we have activities for everyone including:

Canoeing
Fishing
Arts and Crafts
Sports (soccer, basketball, frisbee golf, kickball)
Archery
Nightly Campfire
Cabin Bonding
All-camp Evening Activities
Day Hikes
Water Fun

Parents/guardians, if you haven’t already, please check your email for important camp information, including your camper’s required health forms. Completing these forms before camp helps ensure a smooth check-in process and gets everyone into the fun as quickly as possible!
