We have had a busy week. Emmett got his awards on Monday, and tomorrow wraps up his middle school career. Next year will be the first time in 14 plus years I haven’t had to take a kid to school- it’s bittersweet. I’m going to miss him sitting next to me in 3rd period everyday and the random facts he would give me on a topic we weren’t even on. I’m going to miss you bud, but can’t wait to see where the next four years takes you!

Aiden, we are so incredibly proud of the young man you are and the strength you have shown. No matter what path you choose, we know you are going to do great things. You have the heart, work ethic, talent, and character to succeed wherever life leads you.

This year has shown us even more what you are made of. Not everyone will clap when you shine, and not everyone who should support you will do it the right way. But you never let the opinions, actions, or lack of support from others define you. You kept going. You kept growing. You kept showing up with character, and that says more about you than any scoreboard, grade, or outside opinion ever could.

Whether it is in athletics, academics, or whatever dream you decide to chase next, we hope you always remember that your worth is not measured by anyone else’s recognition. You are moving forward with or without those who failed to see what we have always seen in you.

We cannot wait to watch where life takes you and what you decide to do next. Always know that we are in your corner, cheering for you, believing in you, and loving you every step of the way.
