The DSFG Cares board presented the American Heart Association with a $20,000 donation in honor of Marco Bianchi from our Pong for a Cure event! Pictured is AHA Delaware Development Director Adam Miller. The donation will fund four CPR kits in local schools along with the opportunity to train hundreds of children in CPR. This week, we welcomed twenty college students for our Summer Externship program.

In two days, externs gained firsthand insight into how our advisors build their practices, conceptualize financial plans, and expand their professional networks. Thank you to all the advisors and staff who helped to make these two days a success, specifically DSFG Head Recruiter, Stephanie Patterson, and Onboarding and Training Coordinator, Meg Malloy.

With our two-day externship happening next week and our Summer Internship Program starting June 9th, it is the perfect time to highlight our Onboarding and Training Coordinator, Meg Malloy.

Meg started with us as a Client Service Associate in 2024 and moved into a new role early this year. Focused on the people of DSFG, Meg ensures that our newest team members have a seamless onboarding process and all employees have access to the training and resources they need. Meg is also the face of the firm at recruiting events, and she runs our externship and internship programs.

Always ready with a warm smile and a positive attitude, Meg is an integral part of making sure our staff and advisors can best serve our clients. When she’s not in the office, you can find Meg crafting, going to the gym, or salsa dancing. She also has two adorable cats who are always up to no good.

Thank you to everyone who made Pong for a Cure a success! We’ve been saying that this event puts the fun in fundraising, and these photos from Rob Naylor prove it. Congratulations to beer pong tournament champions Steve McCloskey and Jamie Hagan, and wheelbarrow of cheer winner Tyler Bradley.

Because of everyone’s participation and generosity, DSFG Cares was able to donate $20k to the American Heart Association in memory of Marco Bianchi and $20k to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
