We all know that the amount of trash we produce contributes to climate change, but how trash is picked up and processed is important too!

WM helps prevent 43 million tons of CO2e annually. That's equal to either:
🚘 driving roughly 107.6 billion miles
🏠 powering 5.4 million homes for a year

Another fun fact?
💰 In 2019, the company set a goal to pay a living wage to all employees, which in 2021, they achieved ahead of their 2025 commitment!

Room for improvement?
🔻 Involved in politics or lobbying at interfering levels and scores –48 (!) on the campaign finance reform scale
