We currently support the Breezy Point, Rockaway Beach and Broad Channel Community's. This Benefit is an All type of Cancer Benefit.

The Sunset Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Cancer benefit that supports Men, Women and Children with Financial and Emotional support throughout their Cancer treatment. ALL proceeds are used solely to help our friends, neighbors and relatives get the aid they need.

☀️ We appreciate you being generous with the summer of giving back that sustains our community all year long. Everyone is so giving with the Volunteer firehouses, CYO and The Sunset Foundation, a huge thank you to everyone that contributed!

For 22 years, The Sunset Foundation has been best known for its annual Sunset Walk. Family and friends gather to honor loved ones who have lost their battle with cancer or to support those who continue to fight. It’s a beloved tradition that has grown expanding our support network to include residents of Breezy Point, Rockaway and Broad Channel.

This year, The Sunset Foundation will not host its traditional annual walk. Instead, they are excited to announce a 50/50 raffle - 3,000 tickets will be sold (with your help) at $100 each — that’s a significant prize to be won! The drawing will take place at The Sugar Bowl on Saturday, August 2nd, after Sunset. The winner does not need to be present, but please consider joining in by wearing any Sunset apparel and walking the promenade to celebrate and support our friends and family who have battled or are battling cancer. Walk will take place at sunset - drawing for the 50/50 will take place at the Sugarbowl at 10 PM - if you would like tickets reach out to me or any of the many folks pitching in to make this a huge success - good luck and thanks for supporting such a great cause!

💥 The Sunset Foundation has been serving the community for 22 years. The money raised creates vital funds for patient support, including financial aid, counseling, and transportation. The event honors survivors, remembers loved ones, and fosters community solidarity, encouraging participation and sharing to show those affected by cancer they are not alone.

💥 We are almost two weeks away from the drawing and the pot is growing!!

💥 Tickets are $100 each, and the drawing is August 2nd. Don't miss your chance to win while helping our community! The more tickets sold, the bigger the prize pot for you and for the vital work of the Sunset Foundation!
