Hunter Cares/Hunter Against AIDS We are partnered with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS to meet our common goal.

Hunter Cares helps raise money and awareness to help fight HIV/AIDS as well as other illnesses, by taking advantage of the Hunter College High School theater community. Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is an organization dedicated to helping people living with AIDS and other serious illnesses. Each year the New York theatrical community rallies to help raise money and awareness for the organizati

on. This year, for the first time, we have decided to bring this organization’s efforts to the Hunter theater community through a new club called Hunter Cares/Hunter Against HIV&AIDS. Broadway Cares, and now Hunter Cares, also provide support for The Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative, which offers assistance to women facing a variety of health crisis, including AIDS, breast cancer and other illnesses. Donations help people and their families pay for housing, food, insurance, doctor's visits, medicine and much more.
