Over the past two weeks, students from around the world came together to explore the world of finance, strengthen their investment knowledge, discover career opportunities in the industry, compete in team investment challenges, and build lasting connections with peers who share their passion.

A sincere thank you to our incredible partner, Westcoast Connection, our outstanding instructors, teaching assistants, and NYIF staff for making this experience possible. And to our students: thank you for bringing your energy, curiosity, and hard work to every session. It was the best part of the program.

🎤 It's Presentation Day for Week 2 of the Wall Street Stock Market & Investment Experience!

This week, our student teams built simulated $1,000,000 investment portfolios using technical analysis and thematic investment strategies before presenting their investment theses to NYIF faculty and their peers.

The results? Every team brought their A-game. The presentations sparked thoughtful discussions and even some spirited debate as students confidently defended their stock selections and investment strategies with the poise of seasoned analysts. 📈

It has been great to watch the students build their confidence throughout the week and apply what they've learned in a real-world setting. We look forward to seeing where their interest in finance takes them next.

📈 Week 2 of the Wall Street Stock Market & Investment Experience is off to a great start!

This week kicked off with a special guest: renowned NYSE trader and NYIF instructor Peter Tuchman, known as the "Einstein of Wall Street" and widely regarded as the most photographed man on Wall Street. Drawing on decades of experience on the trading floor, Peter gave students a firsthand look at stock trading, technical analysis, and what it's really like at the heart of the New York Stock Exchange.

It was an incredible opportunity for students to learn from someone who has witnessed and navigated some of the market's most historic moments.

🎉 Week 1 of the Wall Street Stock Market & Investment Experience is in the books, and it was a great one!

Students dove into the world of finance all week, from market analysis to hands-on investing activities led by NYIF faculty. The week culminated in the Fund Manager Competition, where student teams researched companies, built investment strategies, and presented (and defended!) their portfolios to a panel.

We're proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork, and critical thinking every participant brought to the table. Thank you to our partner, Westcoast Connection, for another great week of inspiring the next generation of financial leaders. Onward to Week 2!
