I’m honored to share that one of my sculptural footwear pieces has been selected for the “Collecting Connecting: More than Twenty Years of Virtual Shoe Museum” exhibition at the Shoe Museum in São João da Madeira, Portugal.

My all-around genuine stingray skin avant-garde shoe is now exhibited alongside outstanding works from designers and artists from around the world. It’s a privilege to contribute to a celebration of innovation, craftsmanship, and wearable art.

Every design begins with an idea and a simple line on paper.

Before an object exists, there is exploration, ideas, sketches, anatomy studies, and countless iterations in search of the right form.

For VENOM, I explored the structure of a snake: its skeleton, fangs, scale patterns, and the dynamic curves of its movement. These biological elements gradually evolved into a sculptural object, transforming natural anatomy into an ultra avant-garde footwear design.

What begins as pencil sketches and structural studies eventually becomes a handcrafted piece.
