Responsibilities include: general ledger account analysis; preparation of journal entries, including accruals; miscellaneous schedules and special projects for management; and, potential financial statement preparation depending on skills and time availability.

The position allows for taking on additional responsibilities and adding critical thinking to the finance and accounting function.

Strategas' Capital Markets group is currently seeking candidates with strong relationship building, communication and organizational skills to join our team as a ECM/Corporate Access Associate in New York, NY.

The ideal candidate is a financial services professional with 1-3 years of combined experience working in ECM or Corporate Access with an emphasis on skills that include: coordinating and attending corporate access events for Fortune 500 Companies, planning corporate conferences and related events, and a history of interacting with c-suite executives.

Experience with syndicate origination/execution and assembling marketing materials is a plus.

The candidate should also be comfortable working with information from data providers such as S&P Capital IQ, FactSet or Bloomberg to identify and track corporate opportunities, and have experience working with Microsoft Office.

Candidates presently working in ECM, corporate access, investment banking, research analysis or at a financial data provider are preferred.

This position will require significant travel.

A BS in Finance, Accounting or Marketing is preferred. Series 7 & 63 are required.
