Timothy Furey

Timothy Furey Founder & CEO Of Tradeview Markets To be honest, it feels like I'm just getting started, as Tradeview is buzzing with so many exciting things happening!

Over the past 27 years, I've had an incredible career as the CEO of my own company, Tradeview Markets, and as an investment professional. Needless to say, I'm thrilled about what the future holds and the opportunities on the horizon! Alright, let's rewind and start from the beginning… It all began when I entered the world of commodity brokering and got my big break with Merrill Lynch Futures Divis

ion, one of the top firms on Wall Street. I couldn’t ask for a better start to my professional journey! As I advanced in my career, I jumped at the opportunity to become a Floor Trader at the Chicago Board of Trade, honing my skills in commercial hedging and finding success as a trader. However, change was inevitable, and the open outcry markets began their digital transformation, requiring me to bid farewell to the trading floor. Without skipping a beat, I went head-on into this new era and became a company trader with Schonfeld Securities. This time, I was navigating the markets through a computer screen. In 2004, I found myself back in the bustling streets of New York City, holding the position of Managing Director with ODL Securities. But deep within, I knew that merely being an employee wouldn't fulfill my aspirations. The winds of change had blown, and there was no turning back! Fueled by an unrelenting passion for trading and a crystal-clear vision of what the perfect brokerage firm should be, I took a bold step and fearlessly founded Tradeview LTD - a company built by traders, for traders! Today, Tradeview Markets stands as a testament to that unyielding pursuit, offering advanced trading technology, competitive conditions, and a community of like-minded traders. The journey continues, and I am excited about the future as we grow together and shape the landscape of online trading.

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful wife, Carol, the best mom out there!

Our kids hit the jackpot with you. And so did I. We’re lucky to have you by our side, bringing so much love and care to this family every day.

And Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there.
The world wouldn’t be the same without you!

I took the family on a nice little getaway... and obviously had to film the whole thing because content is king.

My wife and her sisters already own a coffee farm. They completely lost their minds at the idea of me rolling in with a bulldozer to build sick dirt bike jumps, so now - plot twist - I did the logical thing, got upset, and bought the land right next door. Now, I’m a coffee farmer.

I know exactly zero about actual coffee farming. My only experience is gambling on coffee bean prices like a degenerate day trader.

Lucky for me, Carol’s got family and friends scattered across the coffee universe to teach me, so at least someone will stop me before I turn the whole place into a motocross track.

Thank you to for showing us around!

You saw the episode on Bloomberg TV.
This is what didn’t make it in.

In this bonus scene from The American Dream, (Southern Connecticut State University) talks about something more important than markets or business:

👉 Character.

What I was like when I was younger.
And what hasn’t changed.

Because here’s the reality:
Success doesn’t build character.
It exposes it.

Curious to hear your take:

Do you think success changes people… or reveals who they really are?

More coming. Follow along.

It’s not talent. It’s not timing. It’s staying in the game.

This weekend, I watched my episode of The American Dream on .

Strange feeling, seeing your own story from the outside. It makes you reflect...

So here are 3 things it reminded me of:

1. Nothing happens overnight.
What looks like “success” is usually years of showing up, becoming rejection-proof and keep trying every. single. day.

2. Most people quit too early.
Not because they can’t make it..but because it gets uncomfortable. You gotta fall in love with the war.

3. Discipline beats everything.
Talent helps. Timing helps.
But discipline is what keeps you in the game long enough to win. Life doesn’t hand trophies just for showing up.

Watching it back was a reminder of the process.
And guess what..the process doesn’t stop. If this resonates with you, follow me here. I’ll be sharing more about the journey and the process behind it.

Back to work. Happy Monday people, go get it.

One thing we discussed during my recent interview:
Most people underestimate how much survival matters in business.
