We jumped in to help our contractor finish out his rehab of this Catskills colonial gem. The majestic views from the wraparound deck can now be enjoyed standing, sitting, or dining on a fully reconditioned open planked floor and benches protected by a double coat of redwood Deck Correct by Cabot. Help needed: what color should we paint the built-in concrete pad for grilling or fire pit use?

With best thoughts and desires for everyone's health in these challenging times, we would like to share a small solution just discovered and shared here for your benefit courtesy of Orion Home Solutions!

While purchasing slate floor tile for a bathroom in our current Catskills residential renovation, we discovered an inexpensive way to SEAL, DARKEN and ENHANCE the sheen and durability of our flooring. It is a Sealer and Color Enhancer, purchased at Home Depot. It comes in a spray bottle, is applied quickly and easily, and will take your slate floor from GODD to GREAT. The color went from grey to HEY! Black, and the finish from "ho, hum" to "Give me Some!" Hope this helps some of you out there!😄 Stay safe, focused, positive!
