Starting this new chapter is something that I was first, very afraid of; but then life happened, and it kept happening. And with all the trials, tribulations and life lifeing, it made me realize a few things:
-Age is really nothing but a number, it's all about how you feel and the view you have of yourself ( I look and feel 25).
-It's never too late to start over; Colonel Sanders was in his 60's when he introduced KFC to the world. Disney went bankrupted a couple times before he created the most magical place on earth.
- Nothing before it's time. We work and makes plans, and set expectations and goals for ourselves, and God/the Universe laughs; because sometimes we're not in the right place or mindset to attain what he have our mind set on; or there is just bigger and better for us. Trust the process, use every setback to set up your comeback.
- Be grateful. No matter whether you are in good times or bad times, give thanks. One season is preparing you for greatness and the other is your reward.
- Love and Respect all. No matter of you like someone, believe in their beliefs, the life choices they make or who they are as a person, love and respect them, until they disrespect you and you just leave them alone. We are all on our own journey and life experiences, let's give each other Grace to do so. If you don't like what they doing you either offer constructive advice or leave them alone to learn their lesson. Holding grudges and being mad only hurts you, because you're carrying that burden. Live and let live.
-Be forgiving. Forgiveness is not for the other person, it's for you. Even though someone hurts you, a lot of the times it's unintentional, they are just reacting to their life experiences and you get caught in the crossfire. Forgive them! And you can either choose to continue to interact with them or not.
- It's okay to cry. It takes great strength to be vulnerable.... , let the tears flow.
-Life is fleeting. Live everyday with purpose because you're not guaranteed tomorrow.
-Be true to yourself. Live life on your terms, people pleasing only leads to unhappiness for you. It's okay to say no! They will be okay.
THIS IS #40!
