There will be moments when our girls know something isn’t right, but everyone around them is doing it and that pressure can be hard to stand against.
This is why I want my girls to learn to trust themselves before they get into those moments.
Just because the group is laughing doesn’t mean you have to join in. Just because your friends are doing it doesn’t mean you have to follow. And saying “no” when everyone else is saying “yes” doesn’t make you difficult or boring.
Sometimes confidence looks like being the only one willing to make a different choice.
