We live & work on Wall Street, literally, and want to reach out to the community to help us rejuvenate the area. Newsflash: There is life after the closing bell rings down here!!! Excited that Wall Street's branch of Capital Grill is now doing live Jazz on Fridays starting at 6:30pm. So hard to find live music in the city in hassle-free venues. WSG will be bellying up to the bar tomorrow night!

Springtime weather in NYC already? Time to shake off those winter doldrums & get into the swing of 2012. Having a goal & strategy meeting next week to decide what the Wall Street Girls should prioritize for the New Year. But don't worry--the WSG Socials will still remain on the calendar so stay tuned for the next one!

Occupy Wall Street. I want to like them but they don't have a clear message nor are they asking for any solutions. Then I hear news reports say they are asking for their loans to be forgiven? Where would we be if everyone who signed on a dotted line to borrow money didn't have to pay it back? And people have shown up to offer them jobs but they turn them down? Isn't that a bit hypocritical? Take your ipods & ipads & iphones & go home already.

Hurricane activities: standing in a line that wrapped around the grocery store to buy supplies, laundry, cooking whatever I can in the freezer in case power goes out, & now sipping on a nice glass of cabernet with my feet up on the couch watching the news hoping it won't be as bad as everyone says it's gonna be or else our neighborhood is next on the list to evacuate!
