Brace for it - the nonstop Medicare calls will be coming - remember do not give your information over the phone if you don’t know who is calling you. If you get a call and are wondering if there is a better plan for you ask your broker! There are plans in our area that are not accepted at local hospitals, there may be a reason you don’t have a certain plan.

Hey Seniors in Saratoga County! Did you know about our Senior-to-Senior Program?🐾 We have a partnership with the Saratoga County Department of Aging and Youth Services that helps connect senior pets (5+) with loving seniors (60+). ➡️If you're a senior resident of Saratoga County, you can adopt a senior pet for little to no cost! The adoption fee for senior dogs is $6, and cats are free.

Join us to increase confidence, physical and psychological well-being, and knowledge of chronic disease self-management strategies at Washington County Public Health's free 6-week Healthy Living: Pathways to Positive Change Workshop!

Each participant will learn how to:
- cope with fatigue, pain and stress
- exercise for flexibility and endurance
- communicate with family and healthcare providers
- and more!

This workshop will be every Wednesday from September 16th to October 21st from 9:30am - 12:00pm at the Cossayuna Fire Department at 21 Bunker Hill Rd, Greenwich, NY 12834. The workshop is currently offered to Washington County Residents only.

The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program began on July 1. The program provides older New Yorkers 60+ with access to free, local produce at farmers’ markets. Inventory may be limited! Attention seniors! New York State has a new program that can help with emergency home repairs for those ages 60 and over who meet income guidelines.

Known as RESTORE, (short for Residential Emergency Services to Offer Repairs to the Elderly), the program can help with leaky roofs, gutter issues, mold remediation, electric repairs and much more.
