Last weekend was such a beautiful weekend. I was honored to stand beside my brother John Brandon as he and the woman of his dreams said “I do!” She actually couldn’t wait and said it so fast that she ended up saying it thrice. “I do” “I do again” and “I still do!” It was so cool to be able to see Julia smiling from ear to ear as they tied the knot. ❤️

You two are amazing together and I can’t wait to spend countless occasions with you both in the future! You both seriously lucked out with each other!

🐶 They say dogs are people’s best friends. Before getting to know this little nugget, I didn’t have much first hand experience.

🌞 When she sees me for the first time every morning she goes wild tail wagging jumping on me. The excitement doesn’t stop until I give her the belly rubs she seeks.

📚 For years I have been buying ebooks on Amazon or iTunes. At some point I decided to check out audiobooks as well. Whenever I would go to buy an audiobook, it would cost a few extra dollars and it would make me reconsider maybe just buying the regular e-book. 🤔

🏫 Recently I drove by the public library here in Los Angeles and the thought dawned on me…

💡 I wonder if the public library has free digital books and audiobooks? A quick Google search and…

💥 Libby, the public library app, has tons of books audiobooks you can check out, read, and listen to 100% free. Thanks Uncle Sam 🇺🇸

💔 Unfortunately there are VERY limits copies of F.A. Hayek’s “The Road to Serfdom” one I think everyone should read!

😢 Over a week has passed since we laid my grandfather to rest.

Born in 1924, he lived a long and prosperous life, overcoming challenges from a young age. From a refugee fleeing Germany, to becoming a soldier in WW2, and becoming a student in and eventually citizen of the good ole USA. 🇺🇸

👩‍❤️‍👨 He and my grandmother were married 66 years. Legend has it that my grandfather would always leave the theater or the grocery store a few minutes early to make sure the car was heated and pulled around to greet my grandmother at the door. A gentleman and a scholar.

Just last month I went to see him and he was in good spirits, reading a book and the newspaper, still sharp as a tack after all these years.

Your wise presence and council will be dearly missed Grandpa. ❤️
