Every January, we pause as a team to choose our own personal word for the year; something that grounds us, challenges us, helps us grow and keeps us focused all year long.

This practice has been taking place since 2021, and the whole team looks forward to the session that Amy Measner leads to help with reflection on the previous 365 days and determining the focus for the upcoming 365 days. Celebrating accomplishments, learning from mistakes and ultimately finding the one word to anchor the focus for next 12 months.

Some of the words from our team are listed here. As we close out the first quarter we pause to ensure that our word is still front of mind and we extend the challenge to you to determine your guiding word for the remainder of 2026. Remember that progress starts when you decide. One word can still shape the rest of your year!
