Interest rates are historically low. Buy a home and save money every month. The market is hot, and you definitely want a solid pre-approval before home shopping. How quickly can it happen? If qualified & motivated, quicker than you think. On Tuesday I first spoke with a potential buyer mid-afternoon, application and necessary documents were taken care of, and he was pre-approved by the time I left the office. His agent was informed each step of the way. No reason this can't be you too.
