Imagine your parent purchased a fixed indexed annuity in the early 2000s and named you as a beneficiary. Years later, you help them look over the policy and notice that one of its interest strategies has a 3% cap. That means even if the index does much better, that strategy can credit no more than 3% for that period.

The annuity may have served them well. But if they haven’t reviewed it in years, it’s worth checking whether it still fits their goals especially if the surrender charge period has ended.

Fixed indexed annuities can offer protection from losses caused by a decline in the linked index, along with an opportunity to earn interest when it rises. The tradeoff is that caps and other contract rules limit how much interest is credited. Today’s options may have different growth terms, guaranteed rates, or an upfront bonus. A bonus isn’t automatically the best deal; the full contract matters.

A review doesn’t mean your parent needs to move anything. I can help compare what they have with available options, including the current value, interest terms, access to their money, beneficiary provisions, and any charges or benefits they would give up.

If you or a parent has an annuity that hasn’t been reviewed in years, message me. Let’s see whether it’s still doing the job you want it to do.

When was the last time you took a close look at your IRA?

If you’re retired and taking money out each year, it’s worth understanding why those withdrawals are happening and how your account has performed. Is its value growing or declining? How much have you earned over time, and what fees are you paying?

I can help you review your IRA, make sense of the numbers, and talk through whether it still fits your retirement goals. If you have questions, send me a message.

A lot of seniors purchase burial or final expense insurance over the phone without ever having someone truly review all of their options.

What many people don’t realize is that some of these policies are guaranteed issue, which can include a 2-year graded/waiting period for death from natural causes. And even if you’re already past that two-year period, you may still be paying more than necessary for the coverage you have.

That’s why it’s a good idea to have your life insurance reviewed periodically.

As an independent broker, I’m not limited to just one insurance company. I can compare rates and coverage from multiple carriers to see whether there may be a better option for you.

✅ Already have a burial policy?
✅ Had it for several years?
✅ Not sure exactly what you have or what you’re paying for?

Let me review it for you.
