I never thought I'd be posting something like this, but here we are.

I was recently involved in an accident, and because of it, I can't drive for Uber until my vehicle is repaired. On top of that, I've been dealing with some pretty severe neck pain. Since I'm self-employed through rideshare driving, being unable to work has really opened my eyes to how quickly an injury can affect your income.

One thing I found out today that I wish I'd known sooner: rideshare drivers may be eligible for disability insurance if they've been driving for at least a year.

If you drive for Uber, Lyft, or another rideshare service and want to learn more about protecting your income if something unexpected happens, reach out to me. I'm happy to share what I've learned and answer any questions.
