Being an authorized user on someone else's credit card can help to increase your credit score. If you are trying to rebuild your credit, see if someone will add you as authorized user on their card. You do not need to have a physical card, you just need to be able to piggy back off of someone who has had their credit for a while, has a higher limit and no late payments. Please note, this is just a starter move if you have bad credit. Invest in a DIY Credit Repair Kit and fix your credit yourself or hire a Credit Repair Specialist to help clean up your credit. Mortgage companies and Auto Dealers will be able to pick up on a good score due to piggy backing verses a good score with a clean credit report.
