He’s not a call center guy who sees you as a distant number. He’s got in the skin in the game locally. Fred graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business administration from Oklahoma State University and later earned his MBA at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. After returning home to Tulsa from graduate school, Fred worked as a youth counselor at the Tulsa Boys Home for a year before signing on as an Economist with the City of Tulsa’s Planning and Economic Development group and the Tulsa Development Authority where he excelled at introducing and implementing new forms of municipal finance like the Brady District Tax Increment Financing District, The Central Park Tax Increment Financing District, and The Tulsa Technology Tax Increment Financing District which have since attracted almost a billion dollars in new investment. In addition to his experience in municipal finance, Fred has worked in economic development for the Tulsa Regional Chamber. He has managed a private portfolio of oil and gas investments for private clients.
