Did you know we adopted Willodale Park in Elkhart? Last year, we installed this little free library and this year we restocked it by doing a book drive! Thank you to all our members who donated their time and books!

Last night we had the privilege of honoring Mr. Gary Gardner with the prestigious honor of the Modern Woodman Hometown hero award! Gary has been a crossing guard for Edwardsburg school systems for nine years now and is very dedicated to keeping students safe on a daily basis! Thank you for all you do for this community David and congratulations!

If you didn't catch the action, over the weekend, Alex Honnold just became the first person to "Free Solo Climb" the Tai Pai 101 over 1600 daunting vertical feet with no ropes or safety measures.

This had me thinking how so many people try to take on the mountain of retirement planning "Free Solo" without a trusted advisor. No guard rails, no plan, and no parachute if you misstep.

It doesn't have to be that way. If you are overwhelmed or tired of going it alone, connect with us and we can help you make a plan that works. Unlike free solo climbing, a good financial plan should have adequate risk mitigation in place so that we can confidently pursue growth.

Analogies aside, congrats to Alex Honnold. Great work and kudos for following your dreams.
