Our friends over at Jacobs Financial recently hosted their 20th annual Swing Fore Charity Golf Tournament in St. Cloud, MN! Conducted in partnership with the Public Safety Foundation, this event raises funds to benefit local nonprofits serving Central Minnesota.

Through this event, over $560,000 has made its way to these organizations, which are dedicated to improving the lives of those in their region.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event possible! We can’t wait to return again next year.

Today is Juneteenth!

Celebrated on June 19 every year, this holiday commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.

Specifically, it marks the day in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced the freedom of enslaved people. This came more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued by President Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863.

It represents an important moment in our nation’s history and has been federally recognized since 2021, when President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law.

We regularly host events such as potlucks, parties, and other events at each of our offices to foster a sense of connection and culture.

We also publish a recurring newsletter that shares important achievements, both work and personal, to recognize the wins of our people.

Perhaps most importantly, we provide the resources for our people to grow, from professional development opportunities to mentoring relationships.
