Marshall has long enjoyed being a part of one of Iowa's greatest traditions. This year marked his 36th ride across Iowa on RAGBRAI, a journey filled with friendships, perseverance, and unforgettable experiences.

There is something truly special about combining a long-standing tradition with family. This year his brother, Andrew, wasn't able to join, but Marshall's sons, Max & Jack took to the road with him!

Through countless miles, early mornings, challenging hills, and unforgettable memories, the Gifford family continues to embody the spirit of RAGBRAI and the joy of riding together.

This Fourth of July, we celebrate a remarkable milestone—250 years since the founding of the United States. As we reflect on this historic anniversary, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and vision of those who believed in the promise of liberty and self-government.

Over the past two and a half centuries, our nation has faced challenges, achieved extraordinary progress, and continually worked to form a more perfect union. The American story is one of resilience, innovation, and hope—written by generations of people who have contributed their talents, service, and dreams to our shared future.

Today, as fireworks light the sky and communities gather in celebration, let us take a moment to appreciate both our history and our responsibility to future generations. May we continue to uphold the values of freedom, opportunity, and unity that have guided our nation for 250 years.
