Here are some before and after photos of our current project. As you can see, the property was overgrown. You can also see, we have a lot more work to do there. Thanks to Schaubs Landscaping from Magnolia, we were able to remove all the overgrowth away from the home. But as you can see, there has been a lot of damage from the vines and trees. Schaubs donated their time, equipment, and labor to do what was completed last weekend. There is a lot more work to be done. And with some of this work, it isn't going to be free. There is an in ground pool that needs to be cleared out (it is also over grown with plants & vines) and filled. We are looking into options to have the camper removed (which means dump fees) and she is in desperate need of new gutters.
This is just the beginning. We will be inspecting the exterior of the house next week to check for roof/wood rot damage. We know we need to replace some of the screens on the rear porch. Please consider making a donation to help with this project. Every dollar helps. (We will have a paypal link up by the end of the week)
We will be posting updates with the schedule to continue working so any helping hands would be appreciated.
Mrs. Brown has no immediate help to assist her with maintenance so we're stepping in to help avoid having her property levied with a tax lien and fines (as has happened for three years prior) There have been numerous complaints filed by neighbors but one gracious young family brought her plight to our attention. It's a BIG project but with the right attitude and helping hands, we will make a difference for Mrs. Brown.
