Meet our Financial Advisor seat, Jim Tracz with Bucholtz & Germo

About me: I am a Northeast Ohio native and graduate of the Miami University Farmer School of Business. Prior to joining Bucholtz & Germo, I was the Managing Principal for Waddell & Reed, the Cleveland Complex Manager for Ameriprise Financial and have been an investment advisor since 2001. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and I am very active in the community. In addition, I am a passionate sports fan especially the Browns, Guardians, Buckeyes and Cavaliers!
How long have you been an AmSpirit member?: I’ve been a member for almost 2 years!
Why you chose AmSpirit: I have been involved in various organized and unorganized networking groups over the years. When I went into my own practice, I spent some time visiting various local groups. AmSpirit was at the top of my list and I knew some members already.
How has AmSpirit helped you?: Being in a people business, I run into various people each day and AmSpirit has helped me by focusing my referrals. This helps my clients/prospects/friends by being a resource for them when they have a need.
What do you like about our AmSpirit group?: I love the fact that it is a very familial culture. We all know each other well, know each other’s families, trust each other and interact together outside of the meetings.
What is a good referral for you?: A good referral is someone 25-65 years old, who asks themselves questions like – “Am I making the best use of my financial resources? Have I saved enough? Where will my income come from when I retire? What goals do I want to achieve? Can I reduce my tax burden? Will my family be taken care of? Can I leave a legacy for my children?”
