🌟 Northcoast Connect Giving Back! 🌟

Our networking group meets weekly to support each other’s businesses, share referrals, and build real relationships — but yesterday, we had the chance to support something even bigger.

We spent the evening volunteering with Empower Sports, an incredible organization whose mission is simple and powerful:

Sports for all.
Every athlete. Every ability.

Empower Sports creates inclusive sports and fitness programs where every athlete belongs, every athlete plays, and every athlete thrives. We were honored to assist the coaches during basketball, cheering on the participants, helping with drills, and celebrating every moment.

One of our members said it best:
“I never stopped smiling the entire time.”

Our group may be built on professional support and referrals, but giving back together reminded us why community matters. We enjoyed every single minute of it.

A huge thank you to Empower Sports for the amazing work you do — and thank you to Nick Walker for bringing this opportunity to us.

Northcoast Connect is more than a networking group… we’re a team that shows up for our community. 💙🏀

Empower Sports provides inclusive sports and fitness programs for athletes of all abilities— creating spaces where everyone belongs, everyone plays, and everyone thrives.

**MEMBER SPOTLIGHT**
Meet our Financial Advisor seat, Jim Tracz with Bucholtz & Germo

I help you find the right answers to life’s most pressing financial decisions. You’ll receive guidance on where and how to invest, strategize around taxes, and get help with avoiding big retirement planning mistakes. I will help you Map Out Your Financial Goals, Make Informed Investment Decisions, Retire Confidently & Monitor Your Progress.

About me: I am a Northeast Ohio native and graduate of the Miami University Farmer School of Business. Prior to joining Bucholtz & Germo, I was the Managing Principal for Waddell & Reed, the Cleveland Complex Manager for Ameriprise Financial and have been an investment advisor since 2001. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and I am very active in the community. In addition, I am a passionate sports fan especially the Browns, Guardians, Buckeyes and Cavaliers!

How long have you been an AmSpirit member?: I’ve been a member for almost 2 years!

Why you chose AmSpirit: I have been involved in various organized and unorganized networking groups over the years. When I went into my own practice, I spent some time visiting various local groups. AmSpirit was at the top of my list and I knew some members already.

How has AmSpirit helped you?: Being in a people business, I run into various people each day and AmSpirit has helped me by focusing my referrals. This helps my clients/prospects/friends by being a resource for them when they have a need.

What do you like about our AmSpirit group?: I love the fact that it is a very familial culture. We all know each other well, know each other’s families, trust each other and interact together outside of the meetings.

What is a good referral for you?: A good referral is someone 25-65 years old, who asks themselves questions like – “Am I making the best use of my financial resources? Have I saved enough? Where will my income come from when I retire? What goals do I want to achieve? Can I reduce my tax burden? Will my family be taken care of? Can I leave a legacy for my children?”

Why should you join AmSpirit?: If you want to learn how to network, with whom to network, and when and where to network to create professional relationships that yield qualified business referrals, this is your place!
