🏡 Let’s Talk PITI (Because Your Mortgage Is More Than Just a Payment!)

When people think about buying a home, they usually focus on the loan amount…
But there’s a bigger picture you NEED to understand 👇

✨ PITI = Your TRUE monthly housing payment
Here’s what that includes:

💰 P – Principal
The amount you’re paying down on your loan

📈 I – Interest
What the lender charges to borrow the money

🏙️ T – Taxes
Property taxes (broken into monthly payments)

🛡️ I – Insurance
Your homeowners insurance to protect your investment

📊 Example: (educational purposes only)
Principal & Interest: $1,500
Taxes: $300
Insurance: $100

👉🏾 Total PITI = $1,900/month

💡 Why this matters:
Just because you’re approved doesn’t mean it’s comfortable.
We look at your FULL payment to make sure your home fits your lifestyle—not just your paperwork.

👑 As your lender, my job is to make sure you understand the numbers AND feel confident in your decision.

I shared my past concerns about working with lenders and feeling like I didn’t always receive the attentiveness I needed. Queen assured me things would be different—and she absolutely kept her word.”

Proud moment for us at Patriot Bank 👏🏾🏡
We are honored to support NAREB, an organization that has long stood for equality, advocacy, and access in homeownership.

This photo captures a powerful moment of us presenting a sponsorship check to the President of NAREB symbolizing our shared commitment to closing the homeownership gap and creating real opportunities in the communities we serve.

Here, we believe homeownership is more than a transaction it’s a pathway to stability, generational wealth, and empowerment.

Partnering with organizations like NAREB aligns with our mission to make equitable homeownership a reality, not just a talking point.
Grateful to be part of work that truly makes a difference. 💙
