I can’t begin to tell you how many time men would say that to me when I was in the insurance industry. They don’t have a clue how it worked. All they know is, they were paying premiums through payroll deductions. If something did happen and they were fortunate for the claim to be paid to their families, it wasn’t immediate. If they retired or left their job, it would not transfer with them. Then they are older and couldn’t afford it or they could be unhealthy and couldn’t qualify for it. I would tell them all of the time to have insurance outside of work too.

I love my clients even the old ones… a client from my old company called and said she just wanted to check on me…
I told her I switched companies and she said well I’m switching too 😂
