POSITION:
Territory Manager (Outside Sales)
Established and growing Metal & Plastic distributor with multiple locations is seeking a
Outside Sales Representative for Kansas/Oklahoma region.
Position Summary:
Candidate must be performance driven with high personal and professional standards
A good candidate possesses strong work ethics, a positive attitude and has a professional presence/demeanor.
Ability to self-manage time.
Responsibilities include:
· Establish, develop and maintain a relationship with current customers
· Develop & generate new business and sales through prospecting
· Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up information for new accounts
· Relaying quotes and orders to inside sales team
· Communicate with & visit customers regularly making sure they understand our products and services
· Following up on potential leads and quotes
· Daily sales reports to relay information gathered
· Communicating with inside sales team
· Planning weekly visit schedule
· Must have the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Job requirements:
* Sales experience (preferably in the metal industry and/or aerospace industry)
* Driven & self-motivated
* Willingness to do cold calls and develop new accounts
* Good interpersonal skills / excellent relationship management skills
* Must be willing/able to drive & travel as required by the job
