FFC Advisors is on a mission to help small business owners create a lifestyle built on a foundation of good works and generosity to those in need. We are currently looking for a staff accountant to keep financials running efficiently and effectively for our clients.

What Does This Looks Like:

✔ Managing like a Boss! This role is for the number-crunching, technological guru. If you enjoy online accounting and analytical tools - maybe even spreadsheets - this role is for you!
✔ Reconciling bank statements, credit cards, and loans. This role is ideal for someone who likes to search through data for that needle in a haystack and can balance a checkbook like no one else.
✔ Be a team player. Our team is a very small cross-functional team. We cover each other when needed. The ideal candidate is willing to learn new tasks and tackle other out-of-the-box projects as needed.

Skills Needed to Win:

➕3-5 years of accounting or financial management experience in a professional setting.
➕ Intermediate-level accounting skills - QuickBooks Online preferred
➕ An extreme level of organization and professionalism.
➕ Analytical mindset. Ability to identify when something doesn’t “look right” and be comfortable enough to question it.
➕ Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask quickly and oversee many moving pieces.
➕ Not easily intimidated by quick deadlines or direct personalities.
➕ A sense of urgency, high energy, and adaptability to change.
➕ Passionate about the mission of FFC with a heart to serve.
➕ A team player who is comfortable working independently the majority of the day.

We have turned away new clients and have discouraged referral business for a long time. But, as business owners' needs are changing, so are we with a new set of services in the form of our WealthRight Plan.

The American Rescue Plan Act has been signed into law. The two most time-critical things we're watching right now are:

o Changes to your 2020 tax return. These are the unemployment comp change (first $10,200/individual is not taxed provided your adjusted gross income is lower than $150K)

o You do not need to pay back any excess premium tax credit that you received.

o The PPP loan has received a large cash infusion and the definition for owner comp for Schedule C has been greatly increased.
