Carol has worked in banking for a total of 25 years and has been a team member at FIB since 2005. She serves as the Senior Vice President, Consumer Lending Manager, and Senior Mortgage Lender at our Marshall branch. She received her degrees in Finance and Business Management from Southeast Technical College. Outside of work, she enjoys being active in the community, being outside during the summer months, watching baseball, reading, and watching her kids chase their dreams! She looks forward to sharing honest, easy-to-understand mortgage information. Her goal is to make you feel supported so that you can navigate every step of the homeownership process with ease and confidence!

Hayley Fruin recently joined our team as a Vice President and Mortgage Lender! While she will be primarily housed in our Marshall branch, she will help serve the banking needs in all our 12 local communities. She joined the banking industry in 2011 after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Minnesota State University, Mankato. In her free time, Hayley enjoys spending quality time with her husband and 3 boys, family, and friends. She also enjoys traveling, golfing, and cheering on all Minnesota sports teams! She is excited to educate and keep homeowners informed about the current market. Her goal is to also make sure borrowers feel confident and at ease by providing the tools and education for first and repeat buyers!
