If you have a Medicare Advantage or Part D prescription drug plan, your plan sends you an Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) each fall.

And this is one piece of mail you don't want to toss aside. 👀

Your ANOC explains what will be changing with your Medicare plan for the coming year. When it arrives, take a look at things like:

💰 Premiums and out-of-pocket costs
💊 Prescription drug costs
🏥 Provider and pharmacy networks
➕ Benefits or services that may be changing

You don't need to make any decisions yet. Just hang onto it so you'll have the information you need when it's time to review your options.

Before Annual Enrollment Period arrives, take a few minutes to make sure you have an up-to-date list of:

💊 Your prescription medications
👨‍⚕️ Doctors and specialists you want to continue seeing
🏥 Hospitals or medical facilities that are important to you
💜 The benefits you actually use and value

Why does this matter? Medicare Advantage and Part D plans can change from year to year, including drug formularies, costs, pharmacy networks, provider networks and benefits.

Having this information ready makes it much easier to compare your current Medicare plan with your options when the time comes.

📅 Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is coming, but there’s an important distinction that can cause some confusion.

Annual Enrollment Period primarily applies to Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D prescription drug plans. Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans follow different enrollment rules.

That means October 15 through December 7 isn’t necessarily the time when everyone can change a Medicare Supplement plan without medical underwriting.

💡 If you have a Medicare Supplement plan, understanding when you can make changes and what rules apply in your state can help you avoid surprises.
