A day I will never forget. I was sitting at my desk at my first Engineering job out of college in Holland, MI. Internet wouldn't work. Phones were jammed up. I was on the landline with my dad when the 2nd tower fell. We all went to someone's house so we could watch the TV breaking news. No planes in the sky for a few days. People being kind to each other, simply grateful to have a beating heart. It's important that we never forget that time in history. Today we honor the lost by loving and supporting each other, our communities, our country, and this whole earth.
