Top 3 misconceptions Agents have buying Data leads...

1) The consumer on the lead is requesting a quote from YOU.

Facts: In reality a lead generator is attempting to get the consumer to opt in to TCPA and compare rates ONLINE. No lead seller has a button or approach that makes the consumer believe they will get calls by opting in. You're buying the opportunity to speak to someone while they are shopping, not the opportunity for a guaranteed quote. This makes the scripts you use and speed to contact paramount in running a successful data lead campaign.

2) All data leads are the same.

Facts: This couldn't be further from the truth. It's critical you talk with your lead seller about the source of traffic, how many times has that lead been seen in the last 30 days, age of the lead (is it real time), how long they were on the form filling it out and much more... Almost all Lead sellers (Except Quoting Edge) want to throw all the leads in the same bucket so they can sell you the garbage too which lifts an overall price they get.

3) I should pay for a service that scores a data lead...
