I am Theresa, the face and heart behind Numbers by KG. I am a wife, a mom of three, and a new grandma of one and I have to tell you, that last title might just be my favorite one yet. ❤️

I am a California girl at heart who somehow ended up in Texas by way of Idaho and honestly? I love it here. But I will not pretend I do miss the beaches and my mountains every single day. The outdoors will always be my happy place. Put me on a beach and I am a completely different person. ☀️🌊

My path to bookkeeping was not exactly a straight line and I think that is exactly what makes me different.

After years working in accounting, my family and I became co-owners of a sandwich shop. When your bank and credit card accounts sync automatically, your transactions update in real-time. No more forgetting to log expenses or wondering if you missed something.

3. Set it, track it, adjust it
Create monthly budget limits for each category, then run a quick Budget vs Actual report to see if you're on track. Catching overages early means you can adjust before they become problems.

The goal isn't a perfect budget...it's clarity. When you know where your money is going, you can make better decisions about where it should go next.

Mixing personal and business expenses.

I know, I know. You've heard this one before. But here's the thing, most business aren't doing it on purpose. It happens because life gets busy, you forget your business card at home, or a client lunch ends up on the personal card.

But here's what mixing actually costs you:
