CU Kind Day 2025: Sharing Kindness & Financial Literacy!

On October 13th, Limestone Financial Credit Union joined credit unions across Michigan to celebrate CU Kind Day 2025, a day dedicated to kindness, education, and community impact.

Our team had the incredible opportunity to visit classrooms across Schoolcraft and Chippewa Counties, reaching over 500 students in grades Pre-Kโ€“4! Through interactive lessons, stories, and games, we helped students explore smart money habits, from saving and spending to understanding needs vs. wants, all while celebrating acts of kindness.

Students also contributed to our โ€œKindness Wall,โ€ now proudly displayed at our Main Branch in Manistique, highlighting the many ways theyโ€™ve made a positive difference this year.

In addition, we surprised local teachers with classroom supply packages, supporting educators who inspire and guide our next generation of learners.

Weโ€™re so proud to be part of this statewide movement, spreading kindness and building brighter financial futures, one classroom at a time.

These initiatives were made possible by a grant awarded to Limestone Financial Credit Union from the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates (MCUF).

Weโ€™re partnering with Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital to host a Flu Shot Clinic for LFCU members in our Main Branch lobby today, 12:30โ€“3:00 p.m. Stay healthy this fall and stop by!
