Finding transportation is one part of moving freight. Finding the right carrier for the shipment is another.

A freight broker can connect shippers with carrier options without requiring them to build and manage a carrier network on their own.

RBS Logistics Group works with shippers to arrange transportation for LTL and full-load shipments, connecting them with carriers for freight moving across the country.

For businesses that ship regularly, access to carrier options can make it easier to arrange transportation around the requirements of each shipment.

Freight volume does not always stay consistent.

A transportation plan that works during normal periods may look very different when orders increase, demand spikes, or a seasonal rush puts pressure on capacity.

That is why capacity planning should happen before the increase, not only after transportation becomes difficult to arrange.

RBS Logistics Group can help businesses plan for changing freight requirements and higher-demand periods.

If your freight volume changes throughout the year, it is worth looking at your transportation needs before the next increase arrives.

For carriers, a broker can be more than a source of the next load.

Access to the right freight opportunities matters. So does having opportunities to build new client relationships and having support when questions come up during a shipment.

RBS Logistics Group connects carriers with a diverse range of freight opportunities and works with carriers at different experience levels. Each carrier relationship is supported by a dedicated team that provides guidance and assistance throughout the shipment process.

Carriers must meet RBS's applicable insurance requirements before enrolling.

If your business ships on a regular schedule, every shipment does not have to be treated as a completely separate decision.

Recurring freight creates an opportunity to plan around your volume, schedule, and lanes instead of starting from scratch each time.

RBS Logistics Group provides shipper logistics solutions for individual shipments and ongoing freight programs, including dedicated lane planning and coordination for FTL and LTL freight.

The goal is to build a freight process around how your business actually ships.

Long-distance freight is not one-size-fits-all.

A full truckload moving across the country may have very different requirements from a time-sensitive shipment or a recurring route.

RBS Logistics Group provides OTR freight solutions for businesses moving freight across the country, including full truckload, coast-to-coast, cross-state, and scheduled or time-sensitive shipments.

Depending on the freight, RBS can coordinate equipment such as dry vans, re**ers, and flatbeds, along with recurring routes and dedicated lanes.

The right transportation setup starts with understanding the freight, the route, and what the delivery requires.

A freight forwarder does more than arrange transportation.

The process can involve choosing the appropriate transportation method and carrier, preparing required documentation, addressing compliance requirements, and coordinating customs when applicable.

RBS Logistics Group provides freight forwarding services designed to help businesses coordinate these moving parts as part of the shipping process.

The freight may be what is being moved.
The planning and coordination are what help move the shipment forward.

A container reaching the port is one milestone. Getting it to the next point in the supply chain is another.

Drayage connects that gap, helping move containerized freight from ports and terminals to its next destination.

RBS Logistics Group provides drayage solutions that include port drayage, transloading and cross-docking, as well as chassis and container management. For shipments requiring specialized handling, RBS also offers re**er and hazmat capabilities.

The right drayage plan can make an important difference in what happens after the container reaches the port.

Not every shipment needs the same thing.

One may need to arrive quickly.

Another may have a flexible timeline and a stronger focus on cost.

Another may require specific handling or delivery considerations.

That is why transportation decisions should start with the shipment's requirements, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

The right solution depends on what matters most for that particular move.
Start with the need. Then choose the transportation strategy.

Let's talk logistics.
