***VA Loan Guideline Change***

To all my realtor friends out there, the VA as of yesterday made a change to their guidelines so that the veteran purchasing a home can be charged for the cl100 and may also pay for any repairs needed for a clear report. Previously the veteran could not be the one being charged on the CL100 invoice or pay for any repairs needed. Please see their announcement below.

Effective immediately, VA is authorizing that:

Veterans may be charged wood-destroying pest inspection fees, where required by the Notice of Value (NOV)
Veterans may also pay for any repairs required to ensure compliance with Minimum Property Requirements (MPRs)
