If you have recently purchased and put into service a Model year 2025/2026 Ford F59/F53, a recall was announced a few days ago regarding the brakes not returning to the rested position, which leaves the light on. Ford is recalling select 2025-2026 F-53 and F-59 models over an issue where the brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes.
