Happy National Dan Day! 🎉

Apparently, today is the day to celebrate all the Dans out there. When we heard about it, we knew there was only one thing to do: celebrate Dan Odom in style. 👕

We pulled out some of Dan’s best looks from over the years and put them on T-shirts. Because if you’re going to celebrate your fearless leader, you might as well make it a fashion statement.

Make sure you tell Dan how much you love him today. He deserves to hear it!

The grill was fired up, the chili dogs were served, and another Gruver Wienie Fest was a huge success! 🌭🎉

We had a great time cooking and serving hot dogs and chili dogs for the Gruver students, staff, and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a fun one!

Red Raider Kickoff Luncheon! ♥️👆

There are only a couple more weekends until kickoff, and we couldn’t be more excited to cheer on our Red Raiders for another great season! A special shoutout to our President & CEO, Dan Odom, who joined a panel at the luncheon to discuss NIL and Western Bank’s continued involvement and partnership with Texas Tech Athletics.

Get to know our Slide Branch Manager, Skyler Hudson! 🩵

Originally from Amarillo, Skyler has called Lubbock home for the past 23 years! She’s been part of the Western Bank family for almost three years, starting as an Account Services Specialist before stepping into her role as Slide Branch Manager last year.

We asked Skyler a few questions so you can get to know her a little better:
What’s one thing you love about Western Bank?
“I absolutely adore everyone I work with and have had the pleasure of getting to know. The atmosphere at Western Bank is very family-oriented. We all have one goal, and that is to make our community feel at home.”

If you could have one last meal, what would it be?
“My mama’s steak, mashed potatoes with sweet gravy, and green beans. Everyone knows I love my green beans!”🫛

What’s your favorite thing about Lubbock?
“My favorite thing about Lubbock is that it feels like a big city but still gives off small-town vibes. I love getting out of town every now and then, but I sure do love the feeling of coming back home.”

Our Brownwood team has been busy serving up more than just great banking! ♥️

Last week, our Brownwood branch provided hamburgers for 120 Texas AgriLife Extension 4-H agents attending their annual conference! Agents from across Texas gathered in Brownwood and had the opportunity to tour local agricultural businesses throughout the area. 🌾

Yesterday, our team was back at it! They were serving up hot dogs and water at a local salon’s free back-to-school haircut event! 💇‍♀️💇
