POV: Me listening to a borrower explain their recent furniture purchases before underwriting. 😅

I promise I’m not judging… but this is exactly why I tell my buyers:

🚫 Don’t open new credit
🚫 Don’t finance furniture
🚫 Don’t buy a car
🚫 Don’t make large unexplained purchases

The goal is simple: keep everything as close to the same as possible from pre-approval to closing.

If you’re not sure whether something could affect your loan, call me first. I’d rather answer a quick question than have to explain it to underwriting later. 😂
