Tom Team is a door-to-door sales team launching in Port au Prince, Haiti. Named in memory of two Toms, this business embodies both the entrepreneurial drive and giving spirit of Tommy Prato and Thomas Vecere. Less risky than taking out a microloan and less burdensome than starting a business, our sales team will earn commission when they complete sales of products. We hire talented but unemployed and vulnerable people. We use a consignment model where our sales agents earn when they sell products, rather than having to buy inventory and pay upfront. We take on the financial risk so that our employees don’t start out in debt. Tom Team is focused on a long term solution for Haiti.
