We’re also a team of highly skilled composers and producers who write scores for a variety of media and help recording artists cut bad-ass tracks in the studio. Because GZM is based in Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the known universe, we’re able to personally connect with music supervisors and help them find the best music for their project. Our company is deliberately small and selective so that we know our catalog intimately and can quickly find and deliver the most appropriate tunes for any motion-picture project. What sets us apart from other synch houses and music libraries is our personal relationship with artists and music supervisors. It is our mission to serve musicians and music supervisors alike, and we pride ourselves on fostering long-lasting relationships with both.

📸 12 years ago today…
My brother sent me this photo from my UCLA doctoral graduation, and I honestly can’t believe it even happened. A PhD in Music Composition & Theory — equal parts joy and struggle, discovery and doubt. What a journey it was… and what a journey it’s been since.

I met some of the most brilliant, talented artists during those grad school years — and I’ve been lucky to collaborate with so many more ever since. From theory classrooms and studios at UCLA (where I taught for 5 years), to songwriting sessions, stages, and mixing boards — it’s all connected.

That deep dive into composition, songwriting, and sound shaped the way I produce today. Every track I help bring to life is rooted in that same intersection of craft, creativity, and connection.

Grateful for the road so far — and excited for what’s ahead.
