In November, we held our 4th Annual VamosVentures Founder Summit ⭐

The summit theme was Courage, Creativity, & Capital: Leading Boldly Through What’s Next. Our programming included a keynote on courage as capital from Aliisa Rosenthal, former Head of Sales at OpenAI, and workshops on building courage and creative problem-solving led by Juan Carlos Velten.

Additionally, we had fantastic sessions on the state of startup fundraising with Peter Walker, negotiation tactics with Caitlyn Possehl, and a panel discussion on AI with Clarence Wooten, Laura N Montoya, CSM, Miguel Martinez, and Alan Leong.

A sincere thank you to our speakers and panelists for offering thoughtful guidance and perspective that help our founders continue to excel and build companies shaping the future! ✨

Photon Marine, a VamosVentures portfolio company, is electrifying mission-critical marine propulsion via software and hardware. The company’s system can be installed on new or existing vessels. They are building the blueprint for the next century of marine mobility.

🚨 2025 VAMOSVENTURES SCOUT PROGRAM APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN 🚨

We are so excited to bring back our Scout Program for another year! 🎉 Through this program, we aim to grow the pipeline of the next generation of VC investors. Our goal is to build and highlight the venture careers of individuals by giving them ownership over deals and providing access to resources and training.

This year’s program is a little bit different – we are looking for candidates who…
🎯 Show deep knowledge and passion for one of our sector focus areas – Health and Wellness, Future of Work, FinTech, and Sustainability.
📍 Live in one of our 5 key cities (Portland, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, Houston/Dallas) – each Scout will be aligned to one of these cities and must reside in or close to the city they are applying for.

The Scout Program will begin in late April 2025 and run through the remainder of the calendar year through January 2026. We aim to onboard 5 outstanding candidates.
