NY Tech Week delivered 🚀

Over the course of the week, VamosVentures had the opportunity to co-host and participate in four incredible events — each bringing together founders, investors, and operators for a week full of meaningful conversations and new connections.

We kicked off with The Latina Power – in partnership with Cherryrock Capital, L’ATTITUDE VENTURES, Pygma, LaFamiliaFoundation, and Amigas in Tech – for a powerful gathering of women leaders sharing real experiences navigating tech.

We continued with The AI Founder Playbook with Microsoft for Startups, where founders and investors dug into what’s actually working in AI right now — from building AI-native companies to where capital is flowing next.

Midweek, we co-hosted the MIT VC Investor Dinner with a16z speedrun, bringing together MIT alumni investors for a more intimate evening of connection.

And we wrapped with VC Connect, a reverse pitch event creating direct access between early-stage VCs and founders co-hosted by Lazo, Otis AI, AlleyCorp, Your Cohort, and Somnio Software.

SXSW 2026 was a busy one for the VamosVentures team 🚀

We held our first annual Latinx Investor & Allies Dinner to foster new relationships and community within the investment ecosystem. Thanks so much to SVB, HiBob, and Carta for co-hosting!

The team participated in 35+ events, spanning networking, pitch sessions, investor dinners, and panels.

We also spent time at Capital Factory House, New Mexico House, Midwest House, Keystone House (Amplify Philly), and multiple others.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, share perspectives, and build relationships with such a dynamic group of builders and doers 🤝 The energy at SXSW was infectious.

Huge thanks to all the event hosts, founders, investors, and new connections who made the week so impactful!
