On May 26th, Justin White and Nicole Cox from our Texarkana team had the privilege of hosting BSA Troop 6101 from Opportunities Inc.
This remarkable Scout Troop is made up of adults with developmental disabilities, and their visit was part of their journey toward earning the Personal Management Merit Badge, one of Scouting’s most challenging and time‑intensive badges, and a key requirement for achieving the Eagle Scout Rank.
Justin and Nicole spent the afternoon leading an interactive session where they walked through real‑world financial topics like banking basics, saving and budgeting, understanding loans and interest, and how credit works. They also talked through everyday tools like debit and credit cards, the importance of paying more than the minimum, and ways to build healthy financial habits over time.
It was a meaningful and inspiring visit, and we were honored to support these Scouts as they continue their journey.
